It’s amazing how this competition brings the community together, even the different generations of dancers.

I finally felt what it's like to represent my country and loved ones. We were inspired by how different countries showcased their dance as best as they could.
MELISSA LIM
Judge of WSBSG Vol.1 and 2
What really sets WSBSG apart is the exchange between the crew leaders and the judges after the competition, which allows a dialogue of experiences and thoughts.
This allows dancers to know one another and grow together. It is exactly what the dance community needs to keep getting stronger.

One of the most beneficial take-aways was the post-event gathering with the crew leaders and judges, where we shared training tips, ideas and pointers on overcoming our respective difficulties.
The focus was on sharing and improving together, which was different from other events.
